This page presents a curated selection of my artwork across scientific illustration, fine art, and environmental themes.
My work combines biological accuracy with expressive storytelling, aiming to communicate science in a visually compelling and accessible way.
Scientific illustrations
Accurate, research-driven visualizations of extinct and extant species
The scientific illustrations are based on scientific publications with artistic freedom where necessary or suitable. The scientific illustrations can cover skeletal drawings up to whole reconstructions based on fossil evidence and purpose of the project.
Fine Art
Expressive works exploring form, emotion, and atmosphere
“Fine Art” is represented by story telling artwork. The aim is to convey a message with a composition that, ideally, captures the audience and asks them to explore the artwork in more detail.
These works explore mood, movement, and atmosphere through a more intuitive and expressive approach, allowing form and emotion to guide the process.
Environment
Paintings focused on ecosystems and surroundings
Paintings including the environment usually aim to showcase a certain behaviour or composition of flora and faine within one space they live(d) in.
Other artistic phases
Trying new media and styles
These paintings and drawings do not fit into a certain category but can be described as “artistic outliers”
