Welcome! On this page you can register yourself for the virtual paleoart exhibition. I want to showcase the variety on paleoart – this means it works on a first-come-first-serve base. There will be no “judgement” about the quality of the artwork as you are an artist as soon as you created something by yourself.

When you scroll down, you’ll find remaining spots for different months of the year. Each of these months is the start of a so-called rotation. Pieces from other artists will be exchanged with your pieces and according to your preferences, if you have any. Every rotation is planned to start with on online networking event. However, exact times and dates of these events are not fixed yet and will be figured out along the way.

These were created especially for Digital Artists (but include any) to be informed how data are (not!) used. I am aware of you trusting me with your source of income and I’ll treat every file with greatest care. Find information below on how to send data.

Important dates and information

Sending artwork

All artwork should be sent around two weeks before the start of any rotation. You are welcome to send all files via e-mail with the additional information to exhibit@extinctfineart.com. You can also use the file uploader below. However, some people reported issues that are being resolved at the moment. I might contact you in case something went wrong.

Please send a title and measurements in inch or cm for every piece. The size will be used to render the data correctly.

Additionally, you can provide the following information:

  • Year of creation
  • Circulation or Edition (in case of available prints)
  • Price (for print or original) – if you provide both, I will put information about the original piece into an additional description

The maximum amount of pieces is limited to 5. If you send fairly big pieces, up to 3 is a good amount. If they are rather small, you can send up to 7. In case of a bigger collection, please get in contact with me and we find a good solution 🙂

Duration of the exhibition

The Virtual Gallery will be public at any time. Every 8 to 10 weeks, the artwork of one room will be exchanged. Every artist has an exhibition duration of these 8 to 10 weeks.

Artists can participate multiple times. However, they can/should not showcase the same artwork twice. Also, at least one exchange period must lie between the last and next exhibition of a particular artist.

Opening event

As multiple artists, who might not know each other, will participate, an opening event is a great opportunity to know each other and exchange about art, latest impressions and inspirations, and upcoming events.

At this moment, it is planned to have an opening event (vernissage) at the beginning of every exchange of artwork. This event is meant as a “show and tell”, during which artists are free to participate in a conversation about their style, motivation, and inspiration.

Additionally, I am planning to have an additional overall theme for discussion during these sessions as the “Show-and-Tell” sections might become shorter with progression of the format.
